Abstract
The essay is dedicated to our contemporary, a prominent specialist in art history, aesthetics, and cultural studies, Professor and Doctor of Philosophical Sciences Nikolay Andreevich Khrenov. The central question raised in the essay is: “Where did the creative journey in Nikolay Andreevich’s biography begin?”. To address this, the paper highlights the scholar’s multifaceted and fruitful activities, spanning from authoring academic monographs to organizing scholarly conferences; it examines the problematics that engage him and the core themes of his work. Particular attention is paid to Khrenov’s recent research ideas and the projects he currently seeks to implement. In addition, the essay identifies the scholars, academic works, and pivotal life events that shaped his professional trajectory.
