Museology

The presented articles cover a broad range of issues related to museum studies, from the historical transformation of the concept of "museum" to the acquisition and management of museum collections. Particular attention is paid to the interaction of museology with other academic disciplines such as cultural studies, art history, and archaeology. The social and historical aspects of the formation and operation of museums, nature reserves, and protected areas are examined, as well as governmental policy and public initiatives in the conservation of cultural and natural heritage, including the museification of objects. Theoretical and practical aspects of museum work are explored, along with the development of museology as a science and the classification of museums and museum monuments.
