Film and TV Arts

This collection of articles encompasses the development of an understanding of the current state and projected evolution of screen arts, primarily cinema and television as forms of mass communication, as well as video. Particular emphasis is placed on analyzing the historical stages of development of these screen art forms, investigating the aesthetic and socio-cultural aspects of cinema, and studying the evolution of cinematic language and expressive techniques. It addresses issues of interaction between cinema and literature, painting, music, the specific characteristics of screen production and restoration, as well as the methodologies of film studies and film criticism. The impact of screen works on the audience and trends in the development of film production under new economic conditions are also analyzed.
